This Java applet gives you an interactive way to explore the sizes and distances involved in our Solar System. This applet models a large virtual poster. All of the planets, and the nearest star system, are displayed at the proper size and distance from the Sun. You can zoom in or out (to see more or less of the Universe) or you can scroll from side to side.
