Established under the Bilateral Agreement between Brazil and Argentina for the Exclusively Peaceful Use of Nuclear Energy, the ABACC is responsible for the application of a full scope nuclear safeguards system (the SCCC) to all nuclear materials in all nuclear activities in both countries.
