Battelle's Tribology Group performs specialized testing, computational modeling and simulation analysis associated with tribological systems for various market sectors.

The NCT is set up to support industry through consultancy, research, development and training and is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists including experts in materials, failure analysis, surface engineering, corrosion, wear, metallography, metallurgy, valves, pumps, seals, gears, bearings, lubrication and polymers.
